A trullo is an old, traditional building found in the Itria Valley, an area of Italy in the southeastern part of the country. It is a round-shaped, white building made of limestone and usually has a conical roof. In the past, trulli were used for shelter or for storing tools, animals and food, but today they are mainly used as holiday homes, restaurants or shops. Trulli are a symbol of the Itria Valley and its ancient culture, and they make for a very charming sight, especially when lined up in clusters!
