Truncated dodecahedron

A truncated dodecahedron is a fancy name for a very special shape made out of 12 pentagons (a shape with five sides) and 20 hexagons (a shape with six sides). Imagine a soccer ball, but instead of it being perfectly round, it has flat faces on each side. A truncated dodecahedron looks very similar to a soccer ball, but the corners are cut off, or "truncated" which means "shortened". This shape is very unique because it has 62 sides that are all equal in length. It's really cool to look at and can be used in lots of different ways, like in math or art!
