ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Truppenführung

Truppenführung is a German military concept that means "leadership of troops". It involves how military leaders plan, organize, and direct their soldiers during missions in order to achieve their goals.

Imagine you are playing a game of hide-and-seek with your friends. Your job is to find them all and tag them before they can reach the "home base". But there's a twist - you are only allowed to use hand signals to communicate with your teammates.

In order to win, you will need to use good truppenführung. This means that you and your team leader will need to come up with a plan for how to search for your friends, assign roles to different players, and communicate effectively with hand signals.

Throughout the game, your team leader will need to make adjustments to the plan based on what is happening. If someone spots a friend hiding in a new spot, for example, the leader might need to tell certain players to go search that area instead.

Good truppenführung is all about being organized, communicating clearly, and adapting to changing circumstances in order to achieve your goals. It's an important skill for any military leader - or anyone playing a game of hide-and-seek!
