Tuckpointing

Hey there! Do you know what a brick wall is? It's made of little bricks that are held together with a special kind of mud called mortar. Tuckpointing means fixing the mortar in between the bricks so the wall looks nice and neat again.

Sometimes the mortar can get old and crumbly, and the bricks might start to come loose. That's where tuckpointing comes in. A special tool is used to scrape out the old mortar from in between the bricks. Then, new mortar is put back in place so the wall is strong and sturdy again.

Tuckpointing is really important because it helps keep the brick wall strong and keep us safe. Plus, it can make the wall look really pretty too!
