Tudor rose

Okay kiddo, do you know what a rose is? It's a beautiful flower, right? Now, imagine that instead of just a regular rose, somebody took two different flowers and put them together. One of these flowers was called a white rose and the other one was called a red rose. When these two flowers were put together, they made a new flower which became really popular in England. This new flower was called the Tudor Rose.

The Tudor Rose is a special flower because it is a symbol of England. It was made by combining two special flowers together to represent two important families that were fighting for power many, many years ago. The white rose represented the family called York and the red rose represented the family called Lancaster. When these two families stopped fighting and came together, they chose to use this new flower as a symbol of peace between them.

Since then, the Tudor Rose has become a symbol of English history and culture. It's used on flags, coats of arms, and other important things in England. People still love it and use it today, even though it was made a really long time ago!
