Tunjo

Tunjo is a little statue from a long time ago that people made out of gold in South America. The statue was made to look like a person or an animal and was really special to the people who made it. They would use the Tunjo in their religious ceremonies and as a way to show off their wealth and success.

Sometimes, these little statues would end up getting lost or buried in the ground, maybe because of a war or a natural disaster, and they weren't found again until a long time later. But when they were found, people got really excited because they knew that Tunjos were really valuable and important.

Nowadays, Tunjos aren't used as much in religious ceremonies, but people still like to find them because they are really cool and interesting. And even though they're from a long time ago, they're still worth a lot of money because they're made out of gold and they're so rare.
