Okay buddy, so you know how when you look at something really closely, you can't see the things around it? That's kind of like what happens with tunnel vision.
But instead of just being really close to something, your eyes and brain get so focused on one thing that they stop paying attention to everything else.
It's like you're wearing blinders like a horse does, and you can only see what's directly in front of you.
This can happen when you're really scared, like if you think something dangerous is about to happen, or if you're really stressed out and have to concentrate really hard on one thing.
It's not a good thing to happen for too long though, because it means you're missing out on other important things around you. So it's important to try to relax and look at everything around you, not just one thing.
