Turbojet development at the RAE

The Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE) is a British research center that works on the development of all kinds of aircraft, including turbojet engines. A turbojet engine is a type of engine used in airplanes that works by taking in air and compressing it so that it can be used to spin a turbine. The turbine, in turn, powers a fan that pushes air out of the back of the engine, producing thrust and helping the airplane to fly. The RAE works on making turbojet engines better, stronger, and more efficient. They research better ways to compress the air and make the turbine spin faster, which can help make airplanes fly faster and more efficiently.
