Turrón

Turrón is a sweet, sticky candy from Spain that's made from two main ingredients: almonds and honey.

The honey is cooked on the stove until it's thick and gooey, and then the almonds are added in and stirred together until they're coated with the honey.

This mixture is then poured into molds and left to harden, kind of like when you make Jello. Once it's cool and solid, it can be cut into little bars or pieces that you can eat.

People in Spain love turrón and they make it every year around Christmastime as a special treat. There are many different types of turrón, with some adding things like chocolate or dried fruit, but the classic version is just almonds and honey.

So, to sum it up: turrón is a yummy candy from Spain that's made with almonds and honey, cooked together and then molded into shapes to be eaten as a special treat.
