ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Two-gospel hypothesis

So imagine you have two books about the same story, but they have some differences. The two-gospel hypothesis is like that - people think there are two different books (or gospels) about Jesus, called Matthew and Luke, and they have some differences.

Some people think these differences mean that Matthew and Luke were written by different people, or at different times, or for different reasons. Others think that they were just written by the same person but with some changes.

Either way, people are still reading both books and learning about Jesus from them. It's like having two different angles on the same story - you can learn more about it from both sides.
