ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Typographic alignment

Typographic alignment is when words and letters are placed on a page to make them neat and easy to read. For example, when you're typing a paper, it should be lined up on the left side of the page. That's called 'left alignment'. You can also right-align it, which means the words are lined up on the right side of the page. There's also center alignment, which means the words are lined up in the middle of the page.
