U.S. kill or capture strategy in Iraq

The U.S. kill or capture strategy was a policy employed by U.S. forces in Iraq during the war. It basically meant that U.S. forces tried to kill people who they thought were a threat to the United States, or if they couldn't kill them, they tried to capture them so they didn't keep being a threat. This was a way to make Iraq a safer place for everyone.
