UNESCO Reclining Figure 1957–58

UNESCO Reclining Figure 1957–58 is a sculpture by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. It is made out of bronze and is just over two meters long. The sculpture is an abstract representation of a person lying on their back. Its body is divided into curved sections and it is missing some of its limbs, making it look like an incomplete puzzle. The sculpture was made to commemorate world peace and to remind people to work together to build a better world.
