Ultra-prominent peak

Hey kiddo! do you like hiking and watching mountains from far away? Well, if you pay attention, you will notice that some mountains are much taller and stand out more than others. Those very tall mountains are called "ultra-prominent peaks"!

To explain it further, a peak is considered ultra-prominent if it rises at least 1,500 meters or 4,921 feet above the surrounding landscape. That's like stacking about 250 grown-up people on top of each other! Wow!

So, just think of it as a very tall and high mountain that is very noticeable amongst other mountains. People love to climb these peaks and take pictures at the top to show how amazing and beautiful the view is!
