ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Undervoltage

Imagine your body needs a certain amount of energy to do things like play, run, or think. Your brain tells your body how much energy it needs and your body gets it from food or drinks.

The same thing happens with electronics like your phone or computer. They also need a certain amount of energy, but they get it from batteries or electricity.

Now, imagine if the batteries or electricity didn’t give enough energy to your electronics. This is called undervoltage. It’s like not eating enough food to give your body the energy it needs to run and play.

Undervoltage can cause problems with your electronics like making them run slower, not turn on at all, or even break. It can also be dangerous because some electronics need a certain amount of energy to work properly and if they don’t get it, they can start a fire or explode.

Just like your body needs enough food to function properly, electronics need enough voltage (energy) to work properly too.
