Unfinished Buddha
Do you know who Buddha is? He was a very wise teacher who taught people how to be kind, peaceful, and happy. A long time ago, there was a big statue of Buddha that was being made. It was supposed to be really big and beautiful, and everyone was excited to see it when it was finished.
But something happened while the workers were making the statue. Maybe they ran out of money or had to go do something else. Whatever it was, they never finished making the statue. It's like if you were drawing a picture and had to stop before it was completely finished.
So now there is a statue of Buddha that is only partially done. Some parts of the statue are missing, like the arms and legs. It's not as big or beautiful as it was supposed to be, but some people think that the unfinished statue is still very special because it shows that sometimes things don't always go as planned and that's okay.
