United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is an agreement that was made to help protect our environment and reduce the amount of damage that humans are doing to it. The UNFCCC was created in 1992 and is made up of countries from all around the world. These countries agreed that they would work together to reduce the amount of pollution and other damage to the environment caused by human activities like burning fossil fuels and cutting down forests. The UNFCCC also helps countries to come up with ways to fight climate change, like planting more trees or reducing the use of energy from fossil fuels. Through the UNFCCC, countries are making sure that their actions are helping the environment and not harming it.
