United Nations geoscheme for Asia

The United Nations is a group of people who want to make the world a better place by working together. They came up with a special way of dividing the world into different parts, called the "geoscheme." One part of the geoscheme is for Asia, which is a big continent that has many different countries in it.

To make it easier to understand, the UN came up with a way to divide Asia into four different parts based on things like geography, culture, and history. These four parts are:

- Eastern Asia: This includes countries like China, Japan, South Korea, and North Korea. These countries are all located in the eastern part of Asia and have similar cultural and historical backgrounds.

- Southern Asia: This includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and many other countries. These countries are all located in the southern part of Asia and have similar cultural and historical backgrounds.

- South-Eastern Asia: This includes countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and others. These countries are all located in the south-eastern part of Asia and have similar cultural and historical backgrounds.

- Western Asia: This includes countries like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and many others. These countries are all located in the western part of Asia and have similar cultural and historical backgrounds.

All of these countries have their own unique cultures, languages, and traditions, but by dividing them up into different regions, it helps the UN to better understand and work with them to promote peace, cooperation, and development.
