United States Air Force Basic Training scandal

Okay kiddo, let me explain. The United States Air Force is a big group of people who work together to protect our country from bad guys. When someone wants to join the Air Force, they have to go through some special training to learn how to do their job really well. This training is called basic training.

Now, there was a scandal in the Air Force because some of the people in charge of basic training were really mean to the people who were trying to learn. They yelled at them, hit them, and did other things that made them feel really bad and scared. This is not okay and is against the rules.

When this scandal came out, a lot of people were very angry and upset. They wanted the Air Force to do something about it and make sure that no one was ever treated this way again. The Air Force said that they were sorry and that they would investigate to make sure this never happened again.

In the end, some of the people who were being mean to the trainees got in trouble and had to leave the Air Force. The Air Force also made some changes to how they do things to make sure that everyone is treated fairly and with kindness during basic training.
