United States of America

The United States of America is a country in North America. It is made up of fifty states and a capital city called Washington D.C. The 50 states are Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

The USA is made up of many people from all over the world who speak different languages and practice different types of religions. The United States was founded in 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was signed. All citizens in the United States have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The country is known for its powerful economy, vast natural resources and leading world powers.
