United States v. Franklin

Okay kiddo, so there was this man named Franklin and he did something that the government thought was very wrong. They thought he broke a really important rule called the law. So they took him to court to figure out what should happen to him.

The court that heard Franklin's case was called the United States court, which is a really important court in our country. They looked at all the facts and evidence about what Franklin did and tried to decide if he was guilty or not guilty.

After looking at everything, they decided that Franklin was guilty of breaking the law. This means that he did something he wasn't supposed to do and he needed to be punished for it.

So even though Franklin probably didn't want to go to court or be punished, the United States court helped decide what should happen to him because he broke an important rule.
