United States war crimes

United States war crimes are actions that the US military has done that break the laws about how to treat people in wars. War crimes can include attacking civilians, torturing people, and destroying things that aren't part of the war. The US government usually tries to keep its soldiers from committing war crimes, but sometimes they can happen. War crimes are serious and can lead to punishments or even jail time for the people responsible.
