Universal Declaration on the Human Genome and Human Rights

Okay, so there is this thing called the human genome. It's kind of like a big instruction manual for our bodies. It's what tells our bodies how to grow and function.

And then there are human rights. These are basically things that all people should be able to do and have, like the right to be safe and free and to have a say in what happens to them.

The universal declaration on the human genome and human rights is a set of rules that says that even though we all have different genes and come from different places, we all have the same basic rights to be treated fairly and to be respected. It's like a special set of instructions to make sure that everyone is treated equally and with kindness, no matter who they are.
