Vacancy chain

Vacancy chain is a process where a tenant moves out of a rental property and another tenant moves in. It starts with a tenant deciding to move out. The landlord or property manager then looks for a new tenant to fill the vacancy. Once a new tenant has been found and approved, they sign a lease and move in. The outgoing tenant and incoming tenant may even meet each other and exchange keys at the same time. That's a vacancy chain in a nutshell.
