Vacuum furnace

Okay kiddo, imagine a special kind of oven but with no air inside. It's called a vacuum furnace because it sucks out all the air to create a vacuum so that things can get heated without any air molecules getting in the way. This helps to prevent things like rust or oxidation from happening when heating metals, which is really important in making some kinds of things like airplane parts or electronics. It's kind of like when you suck the air out of a bag of chips to keep them fresh for longer - the vacuum furnace does the same thing, but for really big and important things!
