Valid but irregular

Okay kiddo, so sometimes things can be right but not exactly perfect. For example, when you draw a picture, sometimes you might color outside the lines but it still looks pretty cool. It's kind of like that with the word "valid but irregular". It means that something is technically correct (or valid) but doesn't follow all the usual rules (or irregular). It's not wrong, it's just not what you would expect. So just like your cool coloring outside the lines, something can still be good even if it's not exactly how you usually do it!
