Valleys of Afghanistan
Hey kiddo! So, you know how we live in a place where there are mountains and hills? Well, Afghanistan is a country that also has lots of mountains and hills.
Now, in between those mountains and hills, there are places called valleys. A valley is basically a low area between the mountains or hills. It's like a big bowl-shaped area.
In Afghanistan, there are many valleys because the land is very hilly and mountainous. Some of these valleys are really big and can be several miles long. They are usually surrounded by tall mountains on all sides.
People who live in these valleys grow crops like wheat, vegetables, and fruits because the soil is really good for farming. They also have rivers and streams that flow through the valleys which help with farming and provide water for drinking and other uses.
The valleys of Afghanistan are really pretty because of the way they are nestled between the mountains, and they have unique landscapes that you won't find anywhere else. Pretty cool, huh?
