Van Der Elst visa

A van der Elst visa is like a special permission that allows people from one European Union (EU) country to work temporarily in another EU country. It's like getting a passport just for working!

Here's how it works: Let's say you come from France but you want to work in Germany for a little while. Normally, you would need a work visa to do that. But with a van der Elst visa, you don't need one! You just need to show your employer in Germany some important papers, like your passport and a document that proves you're working for a company based in France.

This special visa is named after a man named van der Elst who is from Belgium. He went to court over some rules that made it hard for him to work in other EU countries. The court said that EU countries can't make it too hard for EU citizens to work in another country, and the van der Elst visa makes it easier for EU citizens to do that!
