Video game remake

Okay, imagine you have a toy that you really like to play with. You've played with it a lot and it might not look as shiny and new as it used to. But you still really like playing with it. Then, one day, someone decides to take your toy and make it look shiny and new again. They might even add some new parts or fix some broken pieces. This is kind of like what happens when a video game is remade.

A video game remake is when someone takes an old video game and makes it look and sometimes even play better. It's like taking your old toy and fixing it up to look and work like it did when you first got it. Sometimes they'll add new features to the game or change some things around to make it more fun.

For example, let's say there was a game you really liked to play on an old game console. But now that console is really hard to find and the game doesn't look as good on today's video game systems. So someone might decide to remake the game for the newer systems. They'll make the game look better and maybe add some new things to it, so that you can play the game you love on the newer system and it looks and works just as nice as it did on the old system.

So basically, when someone makes a video game remake, they're taking something old and making it shiny and new again, just like giving your favorite toy a makeover!
