Video journalism

Imagine you wanted to tell a story to a lot of people so they could understand what happened. Video journalism is when people use videos to tell these stories instead of just writing about them.

So, let's say a reporter wants to tell a story about a fire that happened in a house. They would go to the house with a camera and record what they see - the house on fire, firefighters trying to put it out, and people who live nearby watching what's happening. They might also interview people who were there so they can tell their own story of what happened.

After recording all the important parts, the reporter would then edit the video footage they got. This means they'd choose the best parts that show what happened and put them together into a story that makes sense.

Finally, they would share the video story with people so they can watch it and understand what happened at the house fire. Video journalism is a great way to show people what's happening in the world and tell meaningful stories.
