Village design statement

A village design statement is like a big plan for a place where people live called a village. It tells everyone how the village should look, what buildings should be there and what things people can do in the village. It is made by people who live in the village or people who work there, and they want to make sure that the village stays nice and pretty for a long time. Imagine it like when you make a drawing and you plan ahead what colors and shapes you'll use to make it look nice. That's what a village design statement does for a whole village!
