Vitrified fort

A vitrified fort is an ancient fort made out of stones melted together with extreme heat. In this process, the stones are heated to a very high temperature that melts the rocks and sticks them together. This makes a strong wall that is hard to break down. People used this technique to make walls that protected their villages and towns.
