Von Neumann probe

A von Neumann probe is a type of spacecraft that can explore space on its own. It's named after a famous computer scientist named John von Neumann who studied how machines could solve complicated problems. The probe is programmed with instructions to find resources (like water, minerals, etc.), and collect data about the places it visits. It also needs to be able to move and make decisions so it can travel to different places. Once it finds something it has been told to look for, it can send information back to scientists to help them learn more about space.
