WEEE directive

The WEEE Directive is a rule that grown-ups made to help take care of things that we use that have batteries or need to be plugged in to work. This rule says that when people are finished using those things, they can't just throw them away in the trash like they do with regular trash. That's because those things have special parts inside that can be harmful to our environment if they're not taken care of properly. So instead, people have to take those things to a special place called a recycling center, where they can be taken apart and the parts can be reused or thrown away in a safe way. This helps keep our world cleaner and safer for everyone to enjoy!
