ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

WKB approximation

WKB Approximation is a way for us to solve problems involving equations that have variables that change over time. It's kind of like solving a jigsaw puzzle where the pieces keep moving around! To do this, we use something called calculus, which is a way of breaking down complicated problems into smaller steps we can understand better. With WKB, we break down the equation into very tiny pieces, and solve each piece separately. Then, we add the solutions of the pieces together to get our final answer. It's like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle - the small pieces of the puzzle fit together to make a bigger picture.
