Wahaika

Wahaika is a traditional weapon that comes from the Maori people in New Zealand. It is short and has a curved blade on one end. The blade is very sharp and can be used to cut things like meat or brush. The other end has a handle to hold onto so you can swing it back and forth. People used it in battles long ago to protect themselves and their families. People sometimes still make and use wahaika today to honor their Maori traditions.
