Waifu

Okay, so you know how in movies and TV shows, people have crushes on characters and pretend to be in love with them even though they're not real? Well, some people do that with animated or comic book characters, too! They call them "waifus." It's kind of like having a pretend girlfriend, but instead of a real person, they're in love with a drawing or animation. It might seem weird, but everyone has their own things they like, right? Some people just really like certain characters and connect with them emotionally, even if they know they will never actually exist in real life.
