Wallpaper

Okay, so you know how when you draw on a piece of paper or color on a coloring book, you can make it look really pretty? Well, wallpaper is kind of like that, but instead of drawing or coloring on one piece of paper, you put lots of pieces of paper all over your wall to make it look nice.

Sometimes, people will use sticky stuff called "wallpaper glue" to put these papers up on the wall. Other times, there are special wallpapers that don't need any glue and you can just stick them on like a sticker.

Wallpaper pictures can be all different kinds of things! Some people like to have a wallpaper with stripes, dots or flowers on them. Others might like a wallpaper that looks like a brick wall, a forest or the ocean. You can even get wallpaper that has pictures of cartoon characters or movie scenes.

The main reason people put wallpaper on their walls instead of just painting them is that it can add more decoration and personality to a room. It's kind of like putting nice clothes on a person to make them look better. It can also protect walls from getting dirty or scratched.

Wallpaper can be really cool and fun, but just make sure you ask for help from an adult when putting it up.
