ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Walter John Kilner

Walter John Kilner was a man who lived a long time ago and was interested in things that were invisible to the naked eye. You know how sometimes you can see things like toys or trees or people because they are right in front of you? But other things are hard to see because they are very tiny, like germs or dust particles. Well, Kilner was interested in the energy that surrounds our bodies, which is also invisible to most people.

He found a way to make this energy visible by using certain colored filters. He would look at people through these filters and could see different colors around their bodies. These colors showed him where the energy was strongest and weakest. He called this energy the "human aura."

Kilner wrote a book about his discoveries and people were really interested in it. They wanted to learn more about the human aura and how it could help them. Some people even started using Kilner's filters to try and see the aura for themselves.

Today, some people still believe in the human aura and try to see it using different methods. Kilner's work was an important step in understanding the energy that surrounds us and how it affects our lives.
