War bride

A war bride is a woman who marries a man from another country during or after a war. Imagine your mommy knows a nice man from a different country and they fall in love. But because mommy's country and the man's country were fighting a war, they had a difficult time being together. However, after the war ends, mommy decides to move to the man's country to be with him, and they get married. This makes mommy a war bride. It's exciting because mommy is getting to live in a new place and start a new family with someone she loves.
