Washington Accord (credentials)

The Washington Accord is an agreement signed by 19 different countries who want to make sure that the degrees earned in their countries lead to the same outcome. Basically, it means that if someone from one country goes to school in another country and earns a degree, that degree will be accepted from both countries. For example, if someone from the United States earns a degree from a university in India, that degree will be accepted by both India and the United States. This agreement makes it easier for people to go and study in a different country and still have their degrees count.
