Do you know how some people have a really hard time reading because they can't see or their eyes don't work very well? Well, there is a special library called the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library that helps these people enjoy books too!
The library has special books that are made just for these people. The books are either in braille (which is like reading with your fingers) or in audio format (which means you listen to somebody reading the book to you).
People who want to read these books can borrow them from the library for free. They can even sign up to get new ones delivered to their house every month.
The Washington Talking Book & Braille Library also helps people learn by providing special equipment and programs to help them with things like writing, typing, and using the computer.
Isn't it great that there are places like this so everyone can enjoy reading and learning, no matter what their eyes can or can't do?
