Water on terrestrial planets of the Solar System

Water is a special chemical that's made out of atoms like oxygen and hydrogen. Most planets have water in a form called a liquid (water we can see and drink). On Earth we can see it in oceans, rivers, lakes and even in the clouds! In the Solar System, water is also found on some of the other planets. Most of the water on terrestrial planets like Venus and Mars is frozen in ice, just like on Earth it is found in glaciers and icebergs. This frozen water is found in icy soil that covers much of the surface of these planets. On Earth we can sometimes see this ice when it forms in clouds and snow falls to the ground.
