Wedding reception

A wedding reception is a party that happens after two people get married. Think of it like the big celebration at the end of a really fun day.

First, the couple will usually get married in a ceremony somewhere like a church or courthouse. Then, they’ll invite all of their friends and family to a different place, like a banquet hall or hotel, to celebrate with them.

At the reception, there will usually be lots of food to eat, like chicken, pasta, or cake. There may be music to dance to, too. The bride and groom might even have a special dance together, where everyone watches as they spin around on the dance floor.

Guests will give the couple presents to help them start their new life together. These can be things like money, household items, or even experiences like a night out at a fancy restaurant.

Overall, a wedding reception is just a big party where everyone celebrates the happy couple joining together in marriage.
