Weighted blanket

Okay kiddo, do you know what a blanket is? It's something we use to cover ourselves up when we sleep or get cold.

A weighted blanket is a special kind of blanket that has something called "weights" inside it. These weights make the blanket feel heavier than a regular blanket.

Some people like these heavy blankets because they feel like they are being hugged or cuddled. It can make them feel safe and relaxed.

Imagine holding a stuffed animal really tight. That's sort of what a weighted blanket feels like.

But it's important to only use a weighted blanket if a grown-up says it's okay for you. They need to make sure you can move and breathe comfortably with the extra weight.
