ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Welsh handball

Okay kiddo, so Welsh handball is a type of game that people in Wales like to play. It's a bit like playing "wall ball" or "four square" but with some special rules!

First, you need a big wall to play against. Then, you and your friends take turns throwing a small ball against the wall, trying to make it bounce back so the other person can't catch it. If they miss the ball, they get a point!

But there's a catch! You can only use your hands to hit the ball, and you have to hit it with the palm of your hand. You can't use your fists or your feet, and if the ball hits the ground before the wall, that doesn't count either.

The other tricky part is that you can't hit the ball twice in a row. That means if you hit the ball and it comes back to you, you have to let someone else hit it before you can hit it again.

All of these rules make Welsh handball a fun and challenging game to play with your friends. So grab a ball and a wall, and see how many points you can score!
