Western Marxism

Western Marxism is a version of Marxism, which was created by people who lived in western countries in Europe. Marxism is an economic and political theory developed by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. It is based on the idea that the world is divided into two classes: the ruling class, who own the means of production such as factories and land, and the working class, who are exploited by the ruling class. Western Marxism focuses on more than just the economic aspect of Karl Marx's theories and looks at culture, philosophy, and literature. Western Marxists try to understand how societies change and how history shapes our lives. They also look at how people resist inequality and work toward social justice.
