Wicking bed

A wicking bed is a type of garden bed that holds water like a sponge. It has special materials called wicks inside it that help to draw the water up from a reservoir at the bottom of the bed so that it can be used by the plants inside the bed. This is great because it means that your plants can stay hydrated even if you're away from home for a few days!
