ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Wiener series

Do you like math? Let me teach you about something called wiener series. Imagine you have a line that has a bunch of bumps on it. We call this a random function. But sometimes we want to understand what's happening overall, so we use something called the wiener series.

The wiener series is a way to break down a random function into simpler pieces that we can understand. It's like taking apart a puzzle to see how all the pieces fit together. We use a special formula to do this.

Then, we look at the shape of each piece of the puzzle and add them all together to get a better idea of what the original function looks like. It's like if you had a bunch of lego pieces and you put them together to make a bigger shape.

So, wiener series helps us understand more about a random function by breaking it down into smaller, more manageable parts. Pretty cool, right?
