ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Wight

Weight is a measurement of how heavy something is. When talking about weight, it usually means how much something weighs on Earth. For example, if something weighs 2 pounds, that means it is 2 pounds heavy on Earth. This is because different things weigh different amounts depending on where you are in the Universe. On Earth, gravity pulls things down and makes them weigh more. So if you weighed yourself on the moon, you would likely be a lot lighter because there is less gravity on the moon than on Earth.
